January 2022, Update
Hello Beyond Trad Community,
We thought is was time for an update. We love our camp, and look forward to when we can gather again. Unfortunately with the uncertainty of the Covid situation at this time, and the fact that it takes us a full year to plan our event we have made the hard decision to postpone for another year. Here’s to better times for the summer of 2023.
Stay well, keep playing, as music heals the soul.
Sincerely,
The Romanow Knudson family

Covid -19 Cancellation
Hello everyone,
We hope that you have been keeping safe and healthy during these very challenging times. It is with heavy hearts that we have had to make the call to cancel Beyond Trad 2020 Summer Camp.
This is not a decision we made lightly, but we believe it is in the best interest of all involved to not gather in consideration of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Starting Monday April 6, 2020 we will be issuing a refund via etransfer to everyone that is currently registered, but we are hopeful that if you are able and willing to donate a portion we would pass those funds directly to our fabulous instructors & camp staff. Any amount would help. These artists are being hit hard with the cancellation of gigs, workshops and the drastic changes in the reality of teaching music. Anything that we can do to help keep these folks afloat and creating their art is greatly appreciated.
Most of all we hope that you all have folks that you can connect with to keep you grounded. Reach out to your musical friends, start a tune challenge. Build common repertoire so that when it is safe for us to gather, we will all have more tunes to play together. Keep the thread of our beautiful music community strong.
Be patient with yourselves too, know that it this is a time of transition, and so if you don’t feel like doing anything but watch Youtube videos, then allow yourself that space. Given time and freedom, that creativity will flow on its own. Don’t worry if the muse doesn’t come knocking on your door right away, she’s being called on by many people in this moment.
Keep playing, music heals the spirit.
We will see you when the dust settles.
Until that time, take care friends,
Ali & Wendy
